Simone Cox Obituary

Simone Bautista Cox passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her residence in Sedona, AZ. She was a 1975 honor graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, GA., and a recipient of a four year scholarship to Stanford University where she majored and graduated with a degree in Mass Communication in 1979. She gave generously of her time and financial resources to various organizations and would do anything for anyone in need. She loved music and animals and volunteered at the Sedona Humane Society. It was Simone's wish to be cremated without a service or visitation.

Simone was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Eugene Cox and Mila Nabung; along with several Uncles and Aunts. She is survived by her only brother, Michael Edward Cox.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in her honor on April 14th, 2024 @ 2pm at the Old Corral Bar in Cornville, Arizona which will be an open mike celebration.
