Rosalie (Longbottom) Stone

Say what's on your mind, be yourself, and screw anyone who doesn't like you: Because you will find the people who actually love you. These are beliefs of Rosalie Stone, Previously known as Rosalie Longbottom, or better yet “Sis,” “Mom,” and “Grandma”. These are titles that Rosalie held to heart as she lived a long and worthwhile life. Her life started in the booming town of Flagstaff Arizona on November 21, 1939. She loved living in Flagstaff with her many different friends and family as they learned to navigate life and step out on her own. This life was filled with loving parents Andrew Columbus Longbottom and Ruth Margaret Rindfleisch, as well as affectionate siblings Benjamin Hugh Longbottom, Dale William Longbottom (1 child), Susan Longbottom Banning (2 children) and best friend/cousin Dorothy “Dot” Jones. That led her to marry the Love of her life Leffel “LC” Stone and give her the blessing of a whole new family.

Rosalie would always choose to be with family and those who loved her, but when not doing this she could be found: fishing, at the rodeo, a concert, or at one of her long term jobs. Rosalie's jobs include her being a respected telephone operator for 21 years, a civil servant for 18+ years, and lastly a mother for 51 years. She took her last job as the most important, as to never forget her daughter and her family. Her Daughter Coleen Stone’s Family consists of: Katelin Wade (married to Dorian Henson), Mathew StoneHeart (married to Elsa StoneHeart), and Micheal Waage (married to Alyssa Catching-Waage and father to five: Aubree, Emerie, Remington, Mazikeen, and Kaulder), Danny Stone (Married to Jennifer Stone and father to two: Cody and Aspen), Steve Banning, and Stephanie Cossey. Until the end, these are the people she held as family until her passing on January 29, 2023.
