When I was a kid in Haverhill, Aunt Claire was the adventurous family member who inspired many of us. When the box of gifts postmarked Burbank, California arrived just before Christmas, it became a focal point of the festivities. Years later, after I was in a car accident, she sent me several books to read by...;.Louis Lamour.
I will always remember her ability to enjoy a hearty laugh when she read about some news story with a strange twist, or when
relating an event (usually about camping).
It was always fun visiting with her and Jack through the years. I will miss that, and I will miss them.
To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.
